After some back and forth of me saying this is almost $100 more than the quote and I was never consulted beforehand, the owner tells me "sorry it was harder than I estimated and the bike isn't going anywhere until it's paid." I eventually call my wife and come up with the extra cash so I could get my bike away from this scumbag mechanic.
Was quoted for carb repair at $200 (and asked for them to call me if it would be more because I have kids and I'm on a budget). After 2.5 weeks I finally get a call only saying the bikes ready. When I arrive to pick it up the owner tells me I owe $289!
After a season of riding the bike and it still not running smooth I take it in to another bike shop in McMinnville, TN. When they examined the carbs they called me to say that none of the clamps even needed to be loosened to remove the carbs and half of the screws were either missing or misfits that were thrown together!
Bottom line..CycleWorks upcharged me for crap work. Dishonest scammer!

Bike was taken in for tune up to be ready for summer. Had oil and filter replaced in the process. Got home and noticed filter was never changed. Drained oil and neither was it. Called and asked what was up and owner was rude and flat out called me a liar. Won't be back
Got my rear tire changed and had him check if the engine needed tuning. He did a good job but he charged 50 more than he estimated and it was a little pricy. I didn't mind paying it cause I see it as supporting a local business but it's something to know up front.
