I was very unhappy with my last visit. I had gone to them a few years back for an allergy shot ( Kenolog shot) , which cost me $89.00. so I made another appointment for the SAME THING, and my office visit cost me $457.00. I had no blood work done nor any allergy testing. They gave me an allergy shot but not Kenolog like I asked, now I am stuck paying this outrageous bill and it did absolutely nothing to help my allergys. I would Never recommend this place again. And yes, i did have medical insurance, that was the discounted rate for Blue cross blue shield.
My experience was horrible mess. My 2 children had allegedly test and tonsils removed. I was told no allergies on the blood test for both and after surgerys, everything was taken out and well. However on a visit to insta care due to sore throat for one of my children, 3 weeks later, 3 doctors came in and confirmed their opinions that the tonsils were still there and infected. So being concerned I scheduled another apt to Dr. Conionco. On the visit he back tracked on the information he told me. There was some tonsils left, as well as high allergens, and neither children were tested for the full range of allergens. On top of inaccurate information, he was also unprofessional with a derogatory comment on my childs weight. Very disappointed in what my opinion is medical malpractice.
Dr. Canonico is professional and trustworthy. He does not do unnecessary surgery and is very methodical in his approach to upper airway disease treatments. He is very direct and matter-of -fact; honest.
Went in to have my septum looked at. Dr canonico looked inside then told me he was going to numb my nose a little to get a better look. Never told me this was any special procedure or anything like that, just trying to get a better look. A month later I get charged $400+ for a nasal endoscopy. Which I NEVER gave my consent to. I didn't even know it was a thing until I googled it. I don't recall him even using a machine as showed when I looked it up either. If I had known ahead of time I would have denied it until I could find out if my insurance covered it. I should have listened to the reviews. Usually I just think it's people who just complain about small things. Nope! The nurse was very nice but the doctor was cold and doesn't seem like he really cares. Please don't go here. If you do, make SURE you know everything he is doing. They are sneaky.
My family has been long time patients and my husband had sinus surgery 8 months back done by Dr. Canonico. Wonderful results! He also put tubes in my sons ears and the infections stopped. Great doctor and staff! We have recommended them many times!
