Dr. marvel and his staff have always been friendly and very professional. I have been to the Tallahoma and Nashville location. I was very pleased with the care and service at both. Dr. Marvel's pricing is very competitive that doesn't interfere with the quality. His direct approach for ideal expectations always left me assured in my decisions.

I have been a patient of Dr. Marvel's since 2011. I've received a breast augmentation and a rhinoplasty along with Botox and filler's throughout the years.
The facility was well organized. The staff seemed very nice. The nurse I got was helpful. A common condition/deformity I have that has been recognized by many other doctors I have seen over the years & is known in layman terms even this surgeon had never heard of nor had his nurse yet another lady in the lobby with me had the same thing... Dr. Marvel came in still wearing surgical scrubs, a surgical cap still on his head, acting antsy like he was in a hurry. He did not ask me what I wanted out of my surgery. I expressed I wanted a lift he said that implants that were tear drop shaped would lift me enough. I completely disagreed. He had his nurse show me pictures of surgeries he had done with these implants without a lift. The pictures were terribly nonimpressive & I felt sorry for the patients. He said, "I try to avoid a lift unless absolutely necessary." He never sat down to talk to me he was in too big of a hurry & never listened or even asked me a question. I got 2 other opinions in Nashville both which told me I definitely needed a lift & not to go to the surgeon that told me I did not need a lift that was ludicrous (I did not tell them his name). I went to another consultation where the surgeon sat down, talked to me, listened, then as soon as I removed my robe he said immediately, "Yes, a lift is definitely needed. You'll be happy with the result." I got my surgery done last month with the lift. I am so happy & so thankful I did not go to Dr. Marvel. The implant Dr. Marvel suggested was the most expensive I even requested it at my other consultations they both told me it was not the right one for me then explained why. I would have gone through surgery & still not been happy. I left Dr. Marvel's office very discouraged & felt like I had wasted a 3 hour drive & consultation fee. I do not write bad reviews but I do hope this saves someone from ruining their dream listening to Dr. Marvel try to take the easy route in surgery for himself. I am so happy with my results from Dr. Wendel & glad I did not give up.
My daughter had Surgery in July. We had to call the day before to get the amount because they never called to tell us. We called our insurance to confirm the amount was correct. The surgery went as planned. Three months later we recieve a bill that is 50% over what we paid! When I called I couldnt get a straight answer. Since then we have recieved two bills from them with totally different amounts! We have tried to call 7 times and left messages for Melinda every time in Billing, No RETURN CALL!!! They did take the time to turn it into Collections now though!!!!!
I was glad that they really listened to what I was telling them and that we have found a solution. Office is clean and staff seems to have genuine concern for patients. I pray my next visit. On August 8th goes well. Plus after 20 something years they are going to do allergy testing, which I couldn't get done before. That was not because of them.
