The hike is not bad. Well worth it, absolutely amazing. One of God's natural beauties. Brearh taking.
On private property so please be respectful of that and clean up when you leave. It is a bit steep, especially after a rain. Very beautiful setting. The upper falls are a great place to swim, but can also be a little difficult to navigate, especially after a rain.
This location is breathtaking! Plus as an added bonus it is totally FREE!
2. I saw a few pets while I was there but I honestly don't think it was the proper setting, they were very bored.
3. Expect to swim! This is a must while you visit! The water is super chilled by the underground springs!
There are a few things I wish I'd known before visiting though.
If you want this location to be available for future access cleaning up after enjoying it is a must!
Beautiful falls, great clean place to play. But very slippery, so watch your step. Would not recommend going if you have to carry a baby. 6 out of 6 people fell on the rocks.
My boyfriend took our daughter and I the falls for the first time. God created the best parts of life. My boyfriend
4. TRASH! There were bits of trash all over the ground and I should have anticipated it! Make sure you bring a trash bag to pick up yours and others trash!
1. There is not a level spot in the place wear shoes that can get wet, you'll want them.
5. Bring a lunch and just enjoy the sound of the falls!
6. Make sure you get a picture of the The Lady of the Fall this is over looking the falls. She was once located at the state capital and she keeps watch on the falls.
