Good food, great atmosphere! You can't beat the location. If the food were a hair better I'd give it a five, but I'm very stingy with a five-star rating. The food is good, but not excellent. You should absolutely go to the Bluegill Grill every chance you get!

I love the setting, I'm just not crazy for the menu. It's a shame, because it's a bit of a drive for us to get here for food that just doesn't knock my socks off. The service has always been great for us, however, and the atmosphere is awesome. Just wish there was a bit more to the offerings in the menu, or at least what was offered was upscaled just a bit.
Great place to hang with friends, drink some beer, eat some beer cheese (my fav) and hear some good music. This is the coolest place you will find on Tim's Ford lake. This is a must in the summer. They are a seasonal restaurant, make sure you call ahead and see their hours.
I stopped going out there. The food sucked. The prices were too high. They only have tall stools to sit on so your butt goes numb. It's strictly a young person's venue. Very novel as far as atmosphere and I did used to think it was posh to go out there in my younger days but not anymore. It's very crowded, hot, humid. In the early days of the restaurant the food was very good, the portions were very adequate. Then all of a sudden in the change of one season it went south. Portions tiny. Food cold. Takes forever to get your order. I guess that's so you'll drink more beer. It's still an interesting place to take somebody not from around herel
